Purple is one of my favorite colors and I adore poppies...how did she know?!:) Needless to say I'm having fun finding different ways to wear it. I have waist length hair that is fairly thick and heavy so I often do updos to keep it neat. I divided my hair in half (top and bottom) and then formed the top into a shell bun and the bottom into a regular bun. I got inspiration for this from

These are simply beautiful. My daughter makes her own hair barrettes. We used to have hair down to our waist but now it is just in the middle of our backs. We are still trying to decide if we want to grow it out again. We are very busy and often do not have the time to care for longer hair, but shorter hair limits the styles you can do. The Scriptures tell us to not place our value in such things, yet is does not say we cannot do it. We love to have a day occasionally where we just play with styles and have a special tea party. Then it is back to life as usually, but it is like a mini vacation.
